They are strong filtering cells at low-medium gravimetric efficiency and they are composed of a labyrinth structure filtering media having several knitted aluminum flat wire layers, kept by two zinc-plated wire nets and boxed into a galvanized steel frame.

Applications

They are used for fan-coil, air treatment units, warm air generators, ventilation equipment of machines, as pre-filters to filters with higher performances, as filters for hoods and drops separators.

Features

The efficiency of these cells according to EN ISO 16890 is between ISO Coarse 35% and ISO Coarse 50% (between classes G2 and G3 according to EN 779:2012).
Better filtration characteristics can be obtained by varying the number of layers of metal mesh and, above all, by wetting the filter with adhesive oils.

The CM filtering cells can be supplied with different dimensions and thicknesses from the standard above ones, with zinc-plated media (CM/ZN type), entirely in aluminum (CMA type) or in AISI 304 stainless steel (CXC type).

Installation & service

The CM filters can be installed into C-shaped guides or into holding frames at frontal access. Replace or regenerate the cells once having reached a resistance of 200 Pa. Clean by shaking (in case of rough and dry dust) or by counter current air or by warm water and cleaning agent, then, if necessary, grease again the filter with adhesive oil.

They are disposable pleated filtering cells at medium gravimetric efficiency and they are composed of a nonwoven reinforced cotton fiber media supported on the air leaving side with a metal grid and boxed into a strong die cut cardboard frame. The pleating according to which the grid and media are fitted ensures a real filtering surface by two times (for filters having 23 mm thickness) to six times (for filters having 98 mm thickness) higher than the frontal surface of the cell.

Applications

They are used either as final filters or as pre-filters to filters having higher efficiency (like LOM-BAG pockets filters, V-cell filters or activated carbon filters) in ventilation and air treatment units, when it is necessary to combine good air flows with reduced passage sections.

Features

These filters have an ISO Coarse 60% filtration efficiency according to EN ISO 16890 (G4 according to EN779:2012). The shape of the pleating ensures minimal resistance to airflow associated with a high accumulation of dust for the entire operating life of the filter.
On request they can also be supplied with ISO ePM10 55% filtration class (M5 according to EN779:2012).

The DP filtering cells can be supplied with different dimensions from the standard above ones.
For heavy applications or in environments with high humidity, they can also be supplied with a metal frame.

Installation & service

The DP filters can be installed into C-shaped guides or into holding frames at frontal access. These filters are not washable, replace the cells once having reached a resistance of 200÷250 Pa.

They are pleated filtering cells with medium gravimetric efficiency, cheap but strong and they are composed of a self-extinguishing (F1 according to DIN 53438) synthetic fiber filtering media, kept by two zinc-plated wire nets and boxed into a 6/10 mm zinc-plated sheet frame. The pleating according to which the nets and media are fitted ensures a real filtering surface by two to three times higher than the frontal surface of the cell.

Applications

They are used either as final filters or as pre-filters to filters having higher efficiency (like LOM-BAG pockets filters, V-cell filters or activated carbon filters) in ventilation and air treatment units, when it is necessary to combine good air flows with reduced passage sections.

Features

The CZ type cells are proposed with filtering mats with ISO Coarse 50% efficiency according to EN ISO 16890 (G3 according to EN 779:2012); those of type CZQ and CZS (characterized by a more resistant containment mesh) are instead built with ISO Coarse 60% efficiency mats (G4 according to EN 779:2012).

The CZ, CZQ and CZS filtering cells can be supplied with different dimensions and thicknesses from the standard above ones and with mattresses having different compositions (glass fibers, polyurethane foam etc) and/or performances.

Installation & service

The CZ, CZQ and CZS filters can be installed into C-shaped guides or into holding frames at frontal access. Replace or regenerate the cells once having reached a resistance of 200÷250 Pa. Clean by shaking (in case of rough and dry dust) or by counter current air or by warm water and cleaning agent.

They are cheap, disposable filtering cells with medium gravimetric efficiency. The filtering media, with density growing from the air inlet side to the air outlet side, is composed of continuous filament glass fibers and it is supported front and back by two metal grids which are fastened to a cardboard frame.

Applications

The filter media normally used makes them suitable to retain coarse dust particles (PM10).
They are used for fan-coil, air treatment units, warm air generators, ventilation equipment of machines and as pre-filters to filters having higher performances (like LOM-BAG pockets filters, V-cell filters or activated carbon filters).
The high dust storage capacity of fiberglass media makes them suitable should high dust charge be present.

Features

The media used for the construction of these cells has ISO Coarse 50% efficiency according to EN ISO 16890 (G3 according to EN 779:2012).
